美国前50名校MSF与会计专业分析

美国各名校的商学院一直是赴美申请者热衷的，其中，金融和会计类专业更是热门中的热门。每年无数的申请者为了抢过这个独木桥，付出了很多的努力。今天，美嘉国际的常秀敏老师，根据多年的留学行业经验，来帮这些志在名校的学生分析一下美国前五十名校的MSF和会计类专业。

MSF

在美国，开设 MSF的学校并不是很多，排名前50的大学里有金融专业的不过10所左右。总的来说学校选择余地很小，因此为扩大选择范围，经常会搭配申请一些MBA in Finance的学校，两者是殊途同归的。依照历年的录取经验，前50的MSF基本要求托福达到100分以上，GMAT 700分以上，GPA至少3.0，例如：

不过由于MSF申请人数众多，达到此标准的学生亦为数不少，但录取的人数却很有限，竞争相当激烈，所以以上条件只是必要条件，绝非进入前50学校的充分条件。

MSA

在近几年的留学申请的热潮中，会计仍然是热门的申请专业之一。在美国，开设会计专业的学校多于开设金融、营销等其它商科专业的学校，US NEWS综合排名前100的大学当中有一半以上的学校提供该硕士教育，100-200的学校也是如此，这在一定程度上分散了竞争，为申请带来积极的促进作用，但也意味着选校难度的增加，盲目、片面的选校很可能会导致申请失败。

录取标准：一般来说，对于排名前50的学校，学生必须满足GPA至少3.0以上，托福成绩100分以上，录取学生的GMAT分数平均为700分以上，比如以下学校：

此外还要注意一些特殊要求（会计前置课程要求等），对于专业排名靠后一些的学校，由于申请人数众多，竞争也非常激烈。除语言成绩之外，各所学校会进一步了解学生以往学术成绩及职业记录，本科学业中参加过的实习和工作，推荐信，申请陈述，以及申请者关于申报本专业的动机，进行整体实力的评估。由于申请绝大部分学校MSA都有会计前置课程的要求：Micro or Macroeconomics、Financial Accounting、Managerial Accounting、Intermediate Accounting I & II、Statistics等。因此本科非会计专业或非商科专业的学生，基本不符申请资格。真正对本科背景无要求的MSA学校少之又少。因此本科非专业会计的学生，一般会建议申请MBA下的会计分支。

2014年美国硕士申请及签证已经落下大幕，美嘉留学又经过了一轮丰收的季节，据统计，2014年一共办理的赴美留学学生为402人，其中就读高中的为98人，本科综合大学的91人，本科文理学院的33人，本科、硕士双录取52人，硕士115人，博士13人。其中100%的学生获得录取（约有18%的申请人由于语言成绩未达到预期而调整了申请院校，也均获得了录取），博士生均获得奖学金，金额从全奖到半奖不等。目前统计的已经签证的学生，获签率也达到100%。

MS applicants are required to submit the essay below. Application essays allow the admissions committee to get to know you better both professionally and personally. Additionally, the essays are used to assess writing skills, which are critical in the program.
