杜克大学商学院 ?

历史

1969年，杜克大学工商管理学院成立。1970年，学院招收了批共20名学生。1974年，1953年杜克大学毕业生托马斯·F·凯勒（Thomas F. Keller）被任命为院长。在之后的三年里，凯勒共为学院募集到资金2400万美元，其中1000万美元来自于商人、慈善家J.B.Fuqua爵士，也因此学校将商学院的名称以Fuqua爵士命名，称为富卡商学院（The Fuqua School of Business）。

J.B.Fuqua爵士是由起他的祖父母在弗吉尼亚州（Virginia）的爱德华王子县（Prince Edward County）养育长大。Fuqua爵士一直从杜克大学图书馆内借阅图书，也因此与杜克大学建立关系。到2006年4月5日Fuqua爵士去世，他一共向杜克大学捐赠了近4000万美元。

2008年9月，富卡商学院启动了新一轮的校区扩张。目前富卡商学院已在如下城市拥有校区：俄罗斯圣彼得堡；阿联酋迪拜；中国上海、昆山；印度新德里和英国伦敦。

2014年，富卡商学院开设了管理学硕士：昆山杜克大学项目（Master of Management Studies: DKU），这一项目将使学生分别体验在富卡商学院主校区北卡罗来纳州达勒姆市和新校区中国昆山市的学习。毕业学生将获得杜克大学富卡商学院颁发的学位证书。
